“Ian Bailey given extension to find new home after eviction notice: Latest updates”

Ian Bailey, the English journalist who was questioned in relation to the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier, has been given an extension on his notice of eviction. Despite being served a notice to leave his one-bedroom apartment in Bantry before Christmas, Bailey was able to remain due to the eviction moratorium. However, since the ban was lifted, he was told to vacate the property by the beginning of May. Bailey has expressed difficulty in finding a new place to rent and his landlord has given him more time to do so. Bailey, who hosts the podcast “Ian Bailey: In My Own Words”, has received support from the public, and denies involvement in the murder case. Detectives are reportedly following up on new leads from Ireland, Britain, and France, but Bailey has not been interviewed as part of the cold case review.
