“Hockey Exhibition in Banská Bystrica Featuring Legendary Players and Football Stars”

Several famous faces presented themselves under Urpín. The Hoss brothers, Michal Handzuš, or Juraj Slafkovský. Róbert Vittek, Martin Škrtel and TV stars were among the footballers. Filip Tůma and Marek Fašiang shared the athletes as captains. The first named team was more successful. Richard Lintner was in charge of the entire event.

A hockey skills competition was part of the successful evening in the center of Slovakia. The actors of the exhibition had the task of hitting the puck into the area of ​​the goal from the buffet.

This idea was inspired by the statement of Juraj Slafkovski, who declared after scoring a goal in the bronze medal match at the Beijing Winter Olympics: “The first goal was a bit of a buffet. I’m incredibly happy that I managed to do it.”

Things didn’t go so well for him in Banská Bystrica. Out of five attempts, he did not hit the space between the three posts even once. On the contrary, the legendary Marián Hossa showed that, despite the fact that he has already retired from hockey, he has not lost any of his art. The icon of the Chicago Blackhawks even made it twice from a good distance.
