“HIES Celebrates Children’s Day with Fun Activities for Young Patients”

The Children’s Hospital of Specialties (HIES) of Ciudad Juárez celebrated Children’s Day for the child patients with various shows and activities.

Luis Mauricio Acosta, director of the hospital, said that the infants enjoyed face painting, jumps, clowns, magic and received gifts such as toys and bubble shooters, noting that the objective was to bring joy to the patients.

He indicated that the children of the workers also participated, who were characterized by characters from video games or from the world of anime, that is, from cartoons of Japanese origin and the facilities were decorated with space rockets, as well as with colored balloons for their enjoyment. .

“We are taking the opportunity to celebrate our patients and also the children of the workers in a moment of joy on the occasion of Children’s Day,” the director announced.

He stressed that the most important thing is to ensure the well-being of those who are treated at the HIES, which is located on Vicente Guerrero and Arizona streets, in addition to the fact that this type of event improves mental health, which contributes to a speedy recovery.

He added that refreshments were also shared, which were well received by those celebrated, as well as by the parents who attended.

“We have some patients who were able to leave their hospitalization area with the aim of distracting themselves a bit from the diseases they are going through,” he pointed out.
