Actor Actor Na revealed why he prefers no makeup when acting.
Yesterday (30th), a video titled ‘Bae Doona’s Forest with No More Secrets’ was uploaded on YouTube’s ‘Fairy Jaehyung’ channel.
In the video, Jung Jae-hyung commented on rumors about Bae Doo-na, saying, “I heard that she sticks to no makeup in all movies.”
In response, Doona Bae replied, “What I prefer is no makeup, but isn’t that a big issue? I think so.”

Bae Doona said, “The color of my skin changes depending on my emotions.”
When Jeong Jae-hyeong asked, “It’s not easy for men or women to give up makeup because they want to look good on screen, Bae Doo-na said,” Now that I’m a senior, I can ask for a (shooting) schedule. I ask if I can catch the scene in the back.”

At the same time, Doona Bae added, “The reason why actors usually shoot scenes where they sleep with full makeup is because they are waiting for the next filming.
Bae Doo-na also once worked as an entertainer, hosting TV commercials and music shows, but revealed that she stopped working outside of acting after filming the movie ‘A Dog in Flanders’, in which she removed her makeup for the first time.
He said, “It was because it came out ugly. At the time of (shooting), I removed all my makeup, and said that my skin was so good, I did more shadowing to tone it down.”

Lastly, Bae Doo-na explained why she was invited to the Cannes Film Festival for her movie ‘Next So-hee’ but couldn’t attend, “My top priority is filming. I have a filming, but (schedule) interferes? Then I can’t.”
He continued, “Usually in Korea, if there is an opportunity to promote another good movie to an actor, they somehow skip it (shooting schedule). But strangely, this happens every time I shoot an American movie.
