Due to the instability of the weather that has caused heavy rains in several territories and the forecast for the next few hours, it has been decided to postpone the commemorative activities for International Workers’ Day throughout the country, which had been convened for this May Day.
In the territories where weather conditions allow it, the planned cultural and recreational activities will take place. As established in our legislation, this Monday the work recess is maintained.
On Friday, May 5, a work recess will also be declared to allow our people to participate simultaneously throughout the country, starting at 7 in the morning, in the parades and rallies designed to commemorate the historic day of the world proletariat and ratify that Cuban men and women put their hands and hearts to the homeland.
