“Gimpo FC Takes First Place in K League 2 with Victory over Kim Cheon”

‘2nd year of professional football’ Gimpo FC defeated Kim Cheon and took first place in the league.

Gimpo won 2-0 in an away game against Gimcheon in the 10th round of the Hana One Q K League 2 2023 held at Gimcheon Sports Complex in Gyeongbuk on the 30th.

With the victory on this day, Gimpo, who went undefeated in 9 consecutive games since the opening of the season and recorded 6 wins and 3 draws, accumulated 21 points and won against Gyeongnam FC (19 points, 5 wins, 4 draws) and Gimcheon (18 points, 6 wins, 3 losses) and rose to 1st place in the league.

With Son Seok-yong and Luis at the top, Gimpo deployed Song Jun-seok, Choi Jae-hoon, Pablo, Kim I-seok, and Kim Seong-min in the midfield, and Kim Tae-han, Kim Min-ho, and Jo Sung-kwon formed a three-back 3-5-2 tactic. Park Chung-hyo kept the goal.

Gimpo clashed strongly with Kimcheon from the beginning of the first half.

In the 10th minute of the first half, Kim Ji-hyeon rushed to shoot Kim Jin-kyu’s side cross, but Gimpo left regret after hitting the side net.
