Dimension Studio has created a hyper-realistic avatar of Czech supermodel Eva Herzigova using Epic Games’ MetaHuman technology. A video demonstrating the result is posted on YouTube.
To create a 3D model, Herzigova was scanned using 70 cameras. Then the data was processed by artists and programmers, and then the supermodel was recreated in MetaHuman. The avatar has not only the appearance of a girl, but also her walk, recorded using motion capture technology.
The avatar supports customization of makeup, hairstyles and clothes. It is proposed to be used in virtual fashion shows, as well as in the creation of video games.
