People who clean windshields in the streets of the Trujillo district of Víctor Larco, in the La Libertad region, will be penalized with a fine of up to 1,485 soles, 30% of a Tax Tax Unit (UIT), reported the Development Manager Local Economic, Nicolás Fuentes.
The mayor official explained that this sanction is part of the new Regulation of Application and Administrative Sanctions (RASA) and its Unique Table of Infractions and Sanctions (CUIS), which was recently approved by the majority of the District Council of Víctor Larco.
Fuentes mentioned that the payment of the fine would be unique and it would not be possible to divide it. Likewise, offenders will be retained and confiscated all the materials and supplies they use for said activity.
“We are not going to penalize drivers for allowing the windows to be cleaned, because that could lead to a confrontation between drivers and windshield wipers,” he explained.
The manager of Local Economic Development of Víctor Larco said that the measures against windshield wipers will be applied in a maximum of a month and a half, meanwhile, socialization operations will be carried out on this new norm, which houses a total of 375 infractions against ambulatory commerce, operating licenses, buildings, among others.
Once the fine has been applied, the offender will have 5 business days to make their discharges and be eligible for some type of discount of up to 30%, otherwise they must cancel it within a maximum of 20 calendar days and if they do not, it will go to collection. coercive.
According to the director of the III Macro Police Region, PNP General Augusto Ríos Tiravanti, in the La Libertad region there are around 150,000 foreign citizens who are dedicated to cleaning windshields in the streets.
