Mason Greenwood, the Manchester United player, is going through a difficult period in light of his absence from the stadiums, after accusations that he assaulted his girlfriend.
Although the charges against the English international were dropped last February, Man United decided to conduct internal investigations into these accusations, and decided to freeze the player until further notice.
And the British newspaper “The Sun” revealed Greenwood’s position on continuing with the Red Devils after the end of his crisis.
She added, “The player told his friends that he would not play for Manchester United again, especially since the club spent 12 weeks investigating him.”
She referred to the 21-year-old’s belief that his career had completely ended with the team, expressing his surrender about continuing his career outside Old Trafford.
Greenwood feels resentful in light of his absence from the stadiums and his constant stay at home, as he desperately wants to return to playing football, but his complex situation prevents this.
