The first night of the 2023 WWE Draft happened on April 28th, during Smackdown. Triple H opened the event with the announcement that “transfers” could occur. Smackdown drafted Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman, while RAW would have the exclusive world champion. Bianca Belair, the RAW women’s champion, moves to Smackdown, while Becky Lynch joins the RAW roster. The second round of the draft, announced by Rob Van Dam and Michael Hayes, saw the Street Profits move to Smackdown, Imperium go to RAW, Edge become a Smackdown wrestler, and Matt Riddle joining RAW.
