Libreville, April 28, 2023 (AGP) – The President of the Republic, Ali Bongo Ondimba, received, this Friday April 28 in Libreville, the oath of 4 ministers, newly promoted in the government formed on April 27, led by the Prime Minister Alain-Claude Bilié-By-Nzé.
These include the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Herman Immongault, of Transport, Roger Bibaye Itandas, of Mines, Chen Mezui m’Obiang, and the Minister Delegate for the Interior, Jean Claude Ivala.
«I swear to respect the constitution and the rule of law and to conscientiously fulfill the duties of my office in strict compliance with its obligations of loyalty to the Head of State, to keep religiously, even after cessation of my functions, the confidentiality of files and information classified as State secrets and of which I would have become aware in the exercise of these“, they declared, in turn, in front of the Head of State, right hands raised.
Composed of 44 members including 13 women, 31 men including 4 newly promoted, this new government team has, among other things, the acceleration of the process of implementing the projects contained in the PAT, and the materialization of the political vision of the Head of State, on the eve of the holding of the major 2023 elections.
This traditional swearing-in ceremony took place in the presence of the members of the Constitutional Court, in accordance with the provisions of article 15 of the fundamental law.
