New Delhi> Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan released the autobiography of teacher KK Shailaja “My Life as a Comrade”. The release ceremony was held at Kerala House in Delhi. The book is also a glimpse of the birth control that existed in Kerala and the subsequent communist renaissance. The chief minister said during the release that the book is a mirror of history and present. The theme of the book, My Life as a Comrade, is a record of his childhood experiences and the experiences he had to survive as a minister in Pinarayi’s cabinet, including Nipah, Kovid and floods. The teacher has done remarkable work as a representative of the people. Shailaja teacher was given the charge of health department and social welfare department by reposing full trust and the teacher was able to keep that trust fully, the Chief Minister praised. Ret. Justice Kurian Joseph said on the stage that the activities of the teacher when he was the health minister were worthy of respect and the teacher had solved many social problems in Kerala.
