Paulo Dybala can be picked up after this season for a relatively low amount. Fabrizio Romano reports this. According to the transfer expert, the Argentinian attacker has two clauses, one of which is more advantageous than the other.
Dybala’s first clause would only apply to Italian clubs, and stipulates that he could leave Rome next summer for an amount of 20 million. As soon as an Italian club lifts that clause, Roma still has the option to put a stop to this, provided Dybala’s salary is increased from 3.8 million euros to 6 million euros on an annual basis.
A different and much more advantageous clause applies to clubs outside Italy. For an amount of ‘only’ 12 million, Dybala, who is still under contract in Rome until mid-2025, can be picked up from the Italian capital after this season. That clause is a lot lower than the estimated transfer value of the world champion: about 28 million euros.
Dybala is not always fit this season, but is often very important when he does play. This was also the case on April 20, when he made the 2-1 against Feyenoord just before time, after which Roma won against the team from Rotterdam after extra time.
