The procedure was carried out within the framework of joint work between the authorities of Spain and Paraguay and led to raids in the cities of La Coruña and Córdoba.
Seven women were released, including Paraguayans, who were subjected to prostitution and lived in permanent confinement, according to reports.
One of the detainees would be a local singer known as “OG Selu”, also accused of being part of the schemes to recruit women in Paraguay who were taken to Spain under deceit.
