The viral Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, which is in the opposite direction, collides with the Isuzu Panther at the Cinta Kasih Village railroad crossing, Muara Enim, South Sumatra. Pajero Sport passengers heard a loud crash when the rear body of the car touched the Panther.
As previously reported by detikcom, the friction between the Isuzu Panther vs Mitsubishi Pajero Sport was uploaded by the Instagram account @dashcamindonesia. At first it was seen that the Pajero Sport took one lane from the opposite direction to try to overtake. The traffic conditions looked congested but the Pajero Sport with plate B was still determined to take the opposite direction.
A moment later, from the opposite direction, the Isuzu Panther, which was on its way, refused to budge. Finally brak … the car was touched, you can see the back body of the Pajero Sport, which was going against that direction, was grazed by an Isuzu Panther.
The TikTok account @_ntdn.esenzaa, who claims to be the owner of the Pajero Sport in the opposite direction, clarifies and apologizes for the incident. He explained how it happened, even when the Panther car collided with his Pajero Sport.
“When I had passed half the car, I suddenly heard a loud crash behind me (children and wife screamed in surprise) when my car stopped,” write him.
“In that condition, I saw it in the rearview mirror and then my car advanced so that it could escape the impact. After that, the Panther car was seen advancing and then moving to the side of the road and immediately started again so I could not communicate further with the Panther owner.”
He admitted that his position was indeed wrong because he took the opposite path. He also felt that the Isuzu Panther accidentally hit his car.
He apologized for the incident to the Panther’s owner and other road users. In addition, his party is also willing to take responsibility for the damage suffered by Panther.
“On this occasion, I would like to apologize profusely to the Panther riders and other drivers for making them uncomfortable. Once again I say that the incident was not intentional,” he wrote again.
The condition of the Panther was seen to have scratches on the right side of the driver’s door. This was revealed by the kokochen17 TikTok account which wrote that the Isuzu Panther was his brother’s car. The account uploaded a video of his brother’s Panther’s condition after hitting the Pajero.
“On the TikTok account, the sister of the owner of Phanter, we have submitted it in the comments to contact us immediately and read the DM we sent. Our cellphone number has been written there to be conveyed to his sister so we can communicate further. Including some of my friends who also DM the account, but until now we have not received a reply,” he said again.
The opposite direction wanted to overtake the truck but instead got stuck
He explained the reason for taking the opposite direction because he wanted to overtake a truck that was thought to have broken down.
“I stopped in a traffic jam while waiting for my car in front of the road. In the queue there was a truck that didn’t start (I thought it had broken down) because the car in front of the truck had started to run. So there is an empty space in front of the truck. then the 3 cars in front of me overtook the truck then entered to the left to fill in the empty space,” he wrote.
He continued after taking the opposite direction to overtake the truck but the truck did not stall. Absurdly, when he was about to take the left lane, the truck kept going. He didn’t have room to go to the left so stopped from the opposite direction.
“I saw that there was free space for 1 more month, then I overtook it, but when the position was beside the truck, suddenly the truck was running again and I wanted to take the lane to the left, I couldn’t,” he added.
He admitted that he was stuck in that position because he had no room to overtake. Then from the opposite direction there is a car that is in its path. Until finally the incident of friction between the Isuzu Panther and the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport occurred.
“We were already in a trapped position and then took the initiative to move forward slowly while looking for loopholes to get into the queue but couldn’t. Then I saw in front of me that there were 2 cars that were in the right lane before the railroad tracks, they could slowly move forward and were given space by travelers on the left lane, I hoped someone would give way but from the opposite direction the car had started to run from the railroad gate,” he explained.
He said that before he was hit by the Isuzu Panther, he had run into the LMPV Grand Livina and another car. Isuzu Panther became the third car that faced each other but eventually bumped into each other.
“At the same time, after crossing the railroad tracks, a car from the opposite direction had advanced and in front of me there was a Grand Livina car that was walking and it could pass me, then the second car could also pass me. Then the 3rd car is the Panther car,” he said.
