Stefan Djokovic wrote a touching school essay as he explained how his father Novak Djokovic inspired him to “be persistent in life and play tennis”. At school, Stefan had to write an essay on the topic “My hero”.
To no one’s surprise, Stefan said his father is his hero and inspiration. “Before, Federer and Nadal were No. 1 and No. 2 in the world and my father Novak Djokovic came in. He was born on May 22, 1987.
I’m Stefan Djokovic, his son. He inspired me to persevere and play tennis well,” wrote Stefan.
Stefan Djokovic’s essay on “My hero” theme:
“In the old days, Federer and Nadal were No.1 and No.2 in the World and my father Novak Djokovic came along.
He was born on May 22, 1987. I am Stefan Djokovic, his son. He inspired me to be persistent and to play tennis well.”

The Djokovic family recently enjoyed a basketball game
Earlier this month, Djokovic was joined by his family in Monte Carlo.
A few days before the start of the Monte Carlo Masters, Djokovic and his family attended a Euroleague match between Monaco and Partizan Belgrade. Stefan is a huge Partizan fan and lost his composure during Partizan’s 88-84 win over Monaco.
Djokovic later jokingly admitted that his son was doing too much with his support for Partizan. “My son supports Partizan, now we go to Partizan games too, I hope they make top 8.
The president of (basketball club) Monaco sits next to us, I pinch him a bit if he does too much. He told me that this is his worst game because he can’t cheer as much as he wants. I explained to him that he can do it as long as he doesn’t shout ‘ua’ to the other team.
It’s interesting to watch him, he loves basketball, Serbia is a country of basketball,” Djokovic told Serbian media at halftime of the game. Meanwhile, Stefan Djokovic also plays tennis and hopes to one day follow in his father’s footsteps and do the same to become a tennis star.
