Moeldoko, the Chief of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), has reassured that the development of Papua will continue despite the challenges posed by separatist groups. He emphasized that the government is committed to advancing the welfare and prosperity of Papuans, with the implementation of Presidential Instruction No. 9 of 2020. The authorities will also focus on the red zones, namely Nduga, Intan Jaya, and Puncak, where separatist groups are threatening the lives of locals. Despite the intensification of military and police actions, the government will continue to prioritize the development of Papua while protecting its people. President Joko Widodo also emphasized his commitment to accelerating development in the region.
