Škoda has officially announced that by 2026, the Czech automaker will launch no less than six new electric models. This means that there may be even one more model. The first of them will be the “Compact” model and it will go on sale next year under the name “Elroq”. This car is being developed as an electric successor to the Karoq and will be around 4.5 meters long.
The year 2025 promises to be particularly eventful – Škoda will launch the new, second-generation Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe models, and we will also expect a compact class electric model similar to the one seen in the Volkswagen ID.2all concept car. For now, this car is labeled as “Small”, but it is known that it will be about 4.1 meters long, while in terms of capacity, it will be similar to the current Scala model. The starting price is planned to be around 25 thousand euros.
One of the most interesting offers is the “Combi”, which should reach customers in 2026. It will be an Octavia-sized electric wagon, about 4.7 meters long. The description of this car says “Bestseller reinvented”, so we can say with great confidence that this will really be an electric alternative to the Octavia. Finally, the model with the designation “Space” closes the parade – it is an approximately 4.9-meter long, seven-seater SUV. We have already seen this particular car in the Vision 7S concept presented last year.
To fulfill these goals, Škoda will invest 5.6 billion euros over the next four years, while the cars themselves will be designed in Škoda’s new design language, called “Modern Solid.” The manufacturer’s goals are for 70% of cars sold to be electric by the end of this decade. The sketches of the car shown in the photo give a superficial idea of what Škoda intends to do with its new models.
