The team finally made the trade for Rodgers official moments before he walked into the auditorium.
The Jets got Rodgers, the 15th overall pick and another fifth-round pick this year from the Packers. In return, Green Bay will receive the 13th pick in the draftone in the second round, one in the sixth round and another in the second round of 2024 that could end in the first round, if Rodgers ends up playing 65% of New York’s snaps this season.
Rodgers spent his first 18 NFL seasons with Green Bay. Won a Super Bowl with the Packersestablishing himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
