Recently, Microsoft announced the rollout of iPhone support for their Phone Link app on Windows 11. This feature will be available to all Windows 11 users by mid-May, allowing iPhone users to make and receive calls, send and receive text messages, and view notifications, all on their PC. However, there are some limitations, including the lack of support for group chats, photos, videos, and conversation history beyond the current chat session. Messages also appear as gray bubbles in the Phone Link app, with no differentiation between iMessages and SMS text messages. Additionally, the feature only works while the iPhone is connected via Bluetooth and requires iOS 14 or later. It is worth noting that the feature is not available for iPad or Mac. Microsoft had been testing the iPhone support since February. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development.
