Jiří Weintritt will lead the hockey players of Vsetín in the next year of the Chance League. The club announced his continuation in the position of head coach on its website.
“Jirka is an experienced coach who is closely connected to the club. He was our first choice and I am glad that we agreed on further cooperation,” reports VHK sports manager Radim Tesařík.
Jiří Weintritt took over the team last year in the second half of October together with Radim Kucharczyk. They replaced Roman Stantien with Jan Srdník, who were recalled after a series of defeats.

The Vsetín management announced that it was only a temporary solution, but the team improved significantly under the new coaches. Weintritt and Kucharczyk therefore received trust until the end of the season.
And Valachy pulled from tenth place to second after the regular season. In the subsequent play-off, they were only stopped in the final by a rival from Zlín, who won the explosive derby with a ratio of 4:2 per match.
