“Tuffé Val de la Chéronne introduces new 13 km gourmet hike for 2023”

At Tuffé Val de la Chéronne, Golden Age of the abbey and parents of students are back with their traditional gourmet hike, scheduled for Sunday May 14, 2023.

New route with a 13 km gourmet hike

But for this third edition, the two local associations are innovating with a new route.

“We are going to follow the Chéronne, towards the lower town of Saint-Denis-des-Coudrais. Hikers will enjoy their slice of rillettes in the village hall.

Walkers will then take the direction of the church heading for the hot dish (grilled ham, green beans and potatoes) at Tuffé, near the place called “Le Pont”.

“We will then cross the woods of Beaumont, in Chéronne, to exit route de Saint-Denis and return via the chemin du château for an arrival with dessert and coffee in the courtyard of the primary school. »

And who says new route says a few extra kilometers for the 350 hikers welcomed each year, who go from 10 to 13 km.

Practical: Gourmet hike, Sunday May 14 at Tuffé Val de la Chéronne. Registrations until May 4 by depositing the registration forms available in local shops with the tobacconist, the Ehpad, or the president, 16 rue du Bois Joli in Tuffé.
