The January 14 agreement does not serve the educational workers and cannot be accepted

The same source explained that, with regard to the file of contract professors, the broad lines of the aforementioned agreement did not explicitly stipulate that work with this type of employment will be terminated and that the teachers who are required to contract will be integrated into the wires of the public service.

The spokesman believes that the point related to the file of professors who are required to contract is considered an essential and controversial point with the ministry, stressing that it cannot be accepted in any way.

And he continued, that with regard to a group of other files, the ministry presented solutions that it deems broad, general and inaccurate, and that these proposals serve the ministry and do not serve the education workers, and they circumvent the legitimate expectations of women and men of education, the source continues.

Zakaria Sharqawi said, “The broad lines of the January 14 agreement are absolutely rejected by the National Council of the National University for Education,” stressing that the university cannot accept something that does not serve the women and men of education or the education staff.
