“U2 Rehearsing with Krezip Drummer Bram van den Berg for Las Vegas Concerts”

U2 is rehearsing with Krezip drummer Bram van den Berg. He replaces Larry Mullen Jr. in the concert series that begins in Las Vegas at the end of September. Van den Berg is doing “incredibly well”, says U2 guitarist The Edge Variety.

The band members are having a great time during rehearsals and playing with the new drummer is going well, says The Edge. “It’s a big footstep to step into because Larry is one of the best drummers of his time. There’s no question about that. But Bram is doing a fantastic job and I think everyone will be thrilled to see us live.”

U2 will perform songs from the album in Las Vegas in September and October Attention baby (1991), where hits like One in Mysterious Ways to get up. “The songs sound incredible and it’s so much fun to play them again,” says the guitarist. “We are having a great time in the rehearsal room.”

Five concerts are currently planned. It is intended that Van den Berg Mullen Jr. replaces only at these shows. U2’s regular drummer is recovering from surgery.

The Irish band knows the Krezip drummer through Martin Garrix, The Edge told earlier. The Dutch DJ, who has worked with U2 and knows Van den Berg from the Herman Brood Academy, introduced them to each other.
