“Three Rescued from High-Rise Fire in Freiburg im Breisgau”

Freiburg im Breisgau (dpa / lsw) – In the event of a fire in a high-rise building in Freiburg im Breisgau, three people were rescued from the affected apartment. They had tried to put out the fire that broke out on Tuesday and were standing in thick smoke when the emergency services arrived, the fire department said. These were able to quickly extinguish the flames in the rooms on the fourth floor. The mission was over after 90 minutes.

The fire set off the smoke detector in the apartment. Black smoke was coming from the building, it said. Two children escaped from the fire apartment in the 15-storey house.
