“The Twilight Saga: From Box Office Sensation to TV Series”

It seems like yesterday, but it’s already been 15 years since Twilight came into our lives. But much more important than that was the fan phenomenon that was beginning to form around Edward, Bella and Jacob.

A love triangle formed by a girl, a vampire and a werewolf. What more could you want? The five films of which the saga consisted were an unmitigated success. It is not surprising that now Lionsgate has decided to continue squeezing the thing with the development of a television series of Twilight. An idea that had been talked about for a long time, but that now jumps directly into the realm of reality.

There is still no scriptwriter and the project has only just started, but I think it has transcended because Wyck Godfreyproducer of the five films in the saga, will return to the world of Twilight to produce the series. Together with him, Erik Feig (I Know What You Did Last Summer). We’ll see if the new Edward, Bella and Jacob do well on the small screen as well as they did on the big one.
