The Actress Beatriz Álvarez-Guerra has died at the age of 28 of age due to a traffic accident in Cotobade (Pontevedra). The events occurred last Tuesday, October 4, when his 24-year-old boy who was driving without a licenseended up losing control of the car and went off the road in an area with very pronounced curves, in such a way that the car ended up falling into the Almofrei river.
Apparently, the couple was enjoying some little vacation in the Galician town of Cotobade when they had the traffic accident. The boy survived the disaster, but she did not have the same luck, since she drowned, the authorities confirmed hours after finding her body. Immediately, the Civil Guard arrested the young man who quickly went to court, although he chose to avail himself of his right not to testify. This past Wednesday, October 5, the boy was provisionally released, although with charges and faces two crimesone against road safety and another for reckless homicide.
According to The voice of Galicia, the events took place on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. on the Pontevedra highway at kilometer 235, near Ponte Loureiro. The vehicle in which they were traveling fell directly into the river in an inverted position, leaving the part of the occupants of the car completely submerged under water. Even so, the young man managed to leave by his own steps and went to a nearby house to ask for help and that was the case, since these guests were in charge of alerting the authorities of what had happened.
Beatriz Álvarez-Guerra did not have the same luck, since her body was recovered an hour later, after an intense search. However, the health personnel could no longer do anything to revive her and they ended up confirming her death. The accident car was quickly removed from the river with the help of a tow truck.
