“Celtics look to secure series win against Hawks in Game 5 at TD Garden”

After missing a game in Georgia, the Celtics have the opportunity to win their series tonight (1:30) against the Hawks, this time in front of their home crowd. A boon for Boston which should not miss the mark.

It’s good, it was nice this little warm-up series for the Celtics, but now we have to finish the job. Bothered by a (finally) very good Trae Young in game 3the clubs return to TD Garden with the firm intention of close this first round of Playoffs after dropping some ballast in Atlanta.

Overall dominant throughout the series, this possible 4-1 would be the logical reflection of what we saw during the various games. First, a Boston workforce totally in control with Tatum and Brown as a boss. But also important X factors like Derrick White which suggest that the C’s can still dream of a possible NBA final at the end of the season. But we are not there. You have to finish the job against an Atlanta team as confusing as it is unpredictable.

Atlanta has done Atlanta in this series. Totally through in games 1 and 2, Trae Young woke up once at home to finally show his true level and carry his team. Well supported by Dejounte Murray, we saw a real Atlanta team in games 3 and 4 which were moreover much disputed. The Hawks managed to take this Game 3 and we thought that Game 4 could revive this series a little. But Boston’s mastery made the difference to definitely blow up the hawks who, it seems, missed their chance.

The frustration was too great for Dejounte Murray who, by jostling an official at the end of the meeting, almost sealed the future of his people. Without him tonight for game 5 (for which he is suspended) unlikely to see Atlanta out of this. The TD Garden will be on fire and the Celtics on a mission not to prolong a series that should not escape them… But the hawks are teasing and full of surprises, so we are not immune to yet another prank of our favorite hairline, who knows…

See you tonight at 1 pm for the outcome (or not) of this series!
