Family and Friends Hold Vigil for Boy Killed in Failed Robbery in the Dominican Republic

Family and friends held a vigil this weekend in the Dominican Republic for the boy Gioser Feliz who died after being shot during a failed robbery.

With white balloons and photos of the child under 9 years old, a private ceremony was held on Saturday to fire the minor who lived in the Bronx.

Relatives did not allow access to the media, nor did they give statements.

This after they tried to be robbed by a group of individuals.

It was said that Tomás Espinal Morel, one of the detainees, would be the one who planned the assaultaccording to the Dominican police authorities.

“They killed me while I was alive,” says Luis Feliz, Gioser’s father

Luis Feliz, the father of the minor published a heartfelt message on his networks where he assured that “they killed him alive.”

“Only God knows the damage they did to me, there is no other harm they want to do to me, they achieved what they were looking for, they already killed me while I was alive,” he posted on his Instagram account.

Happy thanked the support of his family and friends.

“I am no longer the same, they left my heart lifeless but God is good, God, my son, my family and the support of my friends are giving me the strength to keep going.”

“I don’t have the heart to wish ill on anyone. My heart is clean thank God… that’s why my son loves me because he saw that everyone gave me love and that’s what makes me feel good,” he added.

Local media in the Dominican Republic assured that the minor’s body will be sent to New York between today and tomorrow.
