The bodies of migrants were recovered off the shores of Sabratha

The Libyan Red Crescent Society, Sabratha branch, announced the recovery of 11 bodies of illegal immigrants off the shores of the city of Sabratha, after their boat sank.

The bodies were transferred to the designated places, in cooperation with the Public Prosecution and the Sabratha Police Station, to complete the rest of the procedures.

The National Committee for Human Rights in Libya reported that the volunteer team of the Libyan Red Crescent Society, Sabratha branch, faces many difficulties during the recovery of the bodies due to the lack of capabilities, as well as the lack of a limit in body bags.

The committee called on all the competent authorities, led by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Ministry of Health, to work on providing equipment for preserving and transporting corpses for the volunteer teams of the Libyan Red Crescent, so that they can perform their humanitarian tasks to the fullest.

For the second day in a row, in the presence of the Sabratha Police Station.# 11 corpses were recovered. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts to the volunteers of the Red Crescent, Sabratha branch…
