K. Gatsios: Epirus can become the engine of development for the whole country

His vision for the country and Epirus is shared by PASOK-KINAL candidate for Ioannina MP Konstantinos Gatsios with his statement.

The statement of Mr. Gatsios in detail:

“Dear compatriots,

On May 21st we are invited to choose the new Greek Parliament from which, perhaps, will come the government that will lead the country in the next four years. It is a very critical historical juncture, because our country must find a way out of the consequences of the two crises that have hit it in recent years, namely the crises of bankruptcy and the pandemic. And we must achieve this at the same time that the external threat to our national independence and integrity is growing.

Dear compatriots, at this critical moment I call on you to support with your vote PASOK-Movement for Change, the only political force that can, with respect for the principles of democracy and social justice, lead the country to the structural changes that are necessary to secure its future. And at the same time, I invite you to honor me with your vote, giving me the opportunity to participate with all my strength in this national effort and, at the same time, to fight with all my strength so that our homeland, the Epirus, the rightful share of the desired national development.

Our special homeland, Epirus, must not only enjoy the gift of quality development, which until now it has been deprived of, but it can become the engine of development for the whole country, becoming a national vanguard, apart from the strategic sectors for the survival of every society agri-food and livestock production, in which it already excels, also in the areas of the digital economy, green transition and new technologies.

This is my vision for our country, Greece, and our special homeland, Epirus, and I invite you to help me work towards its realization in the best possible terms by honoring me with your vote on May 21.”
