“Milan Hosts Creative Dialogue Between Human and Artificial Intelligence through Techno Robot and Vibrations Installations.”

From May 5 to 7, Milan is dressed in musical innovation.

Techno Robot y Vibrations, two installations that compose electronic music putting human and artificial intelligence into dialogue.

Techno Robot is an installation in which robots play unusual musical instruments of their own production. A drum made of hard drives, an electronic kalimba and a pneumatic hi-hat produce incomparable sounds. The instruments are connected to a small MIDI keyboard that controls them and mixes the different patterns producing a futuristic result.

Vibrations is the evolution of Techno Robot, a installation robotics and mechanics that integrates elements of artificial intelligence and puts them in dialogue with the artist. It is inspired by the classic vibraphone, deconstructing its sound and physical form to generate melodies through tuned aluminum bars controlled by a complex system of robotic actuators.

This work will remain available to the public at the Museum also on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 May.

During the night of Friday May 5th, the German artist will interact in English with the people presentproposing moments of musical performance and presentation of the sound research path that led him to the production of the Techno Robot installation, up to the conception and realization of Vibrations.

His study weaves together the physics of sound, robotic devices, and machine learning algorithms as artificial extensions of human creativity.
