One person to hospital after a violent incident at a spa hotel
A security guard has been sent to hospital with cuts to the head, following a violent incident at The Well Spa & Hotel in Sofiemyr outside Oslo, the police in East reports on Twitter.
The incident took place in a hotel room at 10.40pm on Sunday evening.
– The persons were unwanted at the hotel and are said to have been followed up to the room by two security guards – A confrontation then occurred, which resulted in one security guard receiving head injuries. He has been transported to Ahus for treatment, says operations manager Terje Skaftnes in the East police district to NRK.
According to NTB, a vase must have been thrown at the security guard. Subsequently, parts from this vase must have been used to inflict cuts on the guard.
There were several witnesses and employees at the hotel who contacted the police. The guard has been taken to Akershus University Hospital for treatment.
We received many calls about this, as the two people had attracted attention in the run-up to this incident, says Skaftnes.
– We have a lot of crews on site now looking for these two people who have left the hotel, says the operations manager.
