Disneyland’s beloved Fantasmic! show surprised onlookers when the fire-breathing animatronic dragon suddenly caught fire. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident, which occurred on Saturday night at the Anaheim theme park in Southern California. Ryan Laux, a Los Angeles resident and regular Disneyland visitor, explained that although flames usually come from a specific area, the dragon’s head unexpectedly ignited, causing the entire body to subsequently burst into flames. As a result of the incident, the show was halted and Mickey Mouse disappeared from the stage. The extent of the damage is not yet known. Despite the unfortunate disruption, the show remains a popular attraction, featuring Mickey battling the dragon Maleficent, performing twice nightly near the renowned Tom Sawyer Island.
