Town Hall of Puebla Asks Companies to Donate Treated Water for Parks and Gardens

Through a press conference, Myriam Arabian Couttolencholder of the Environment Secretary, announced that he Town Hall of Puebla, will ask companies to donate their treated water and thus be able to use it in parks and gardens.

All this with the intention of creating a better use of water and reducing existing pollution around the rivers of Pueblaone of the main points where this action would be implemented would be the ridge of the avenue Juarez.

The owner recalled that, in the entity, making use of drinking water to protect green areas is something forbiddenwhich is why the City Council is already looking for a solution to the problem.

It will be during the course of the following weeks when the risk of green areas with treated water in the municipality and thus contribute in a better way to the conservation of the environment.

“More and more companies are treating their water, we are asking for a donation of treated water to irrigate parks and gardens, we will sign an agreement, we are going to have an event where we will be signing with many companies the donation of this water, and instead of returning it to the river We ask them to donate them to the municipality, because it is already prohibited to irrigate with drinking water,” he declared.

Finally, the owner stated that, within the project in which parks and gardens will be irrigated, there will be a company that will be entrusted with the custody of the median of Juárez avenue, ranging from the Fountain of the Friars and even Paseo Bravo.

Irrigation to these areas will be every third day, they must also collect garbage from the site and reuse it.
