Through WhatsApp Indonesia’s official statement received by KompasTekno, Thursday (20/4/2023), various cross-platform status features are presented to realize the input of users who want to immediately share their status on two platforms automatically.
“We received feedback that users want to make this process easier, there is no need to manually share WhatsApp status updates.
Now, we have added an optional feature to automatically share WhatsApp Status to Facebook Story,” explained WhatsApp.
Status itself is often one way for users to communicate and interact with other users on WhatsApp.
The form of uploaded content can be in the form of photos, videos, text, to GIFs.
Just like the principle of status or stories in general, this content only lasts for 24 hours. After 24 hours, the status cannot be reviewed.
How to share WhatsApp Status directly to Facebook Story is quite easy. Users just have to swipe to the Status page on the WhatsApp application. Under the words “My status” will appear the words “Share to Facebook Story”.
If clicked, a new page will appear containing a full profile photo and content privacy settings.
Users can choose which accounts can see the status, whether the upload is shared publicly or exclusively for close relatives, and so on.
