FOUNDATION. Considering himself too busy with his professional commitments, Alan Kezber decided to leave the presidency of the Memphremagog Hospital Foundation, after four and a half years of involvement.
He will be replaced on an interim basis by restaurateur and entrepreneur Charles-Alexandre (Chuck) Pelletier, who himself had been a member of the Foundation’s Board for two years.
CEO and founder of Kezber Expert TI, Mr. Kezber is recognized for his dynamism and his commitment to numerous community causes.
He was elected President of the Hospital Foundation in October 2018. “My company is experiencing exceptional growth which requires an increased presence on my part, and unfortunately I can no longer get involved to the extent that the Merit Foundation, ”suggested the Magogois businessman.
“It was an enriching experience that allowed me to learn a lot about the philanthropic world and to forge ties with kind-hearted people who make a tangible difference for the entire community here. I say goodbye to my personal involvement, but I will continue to engage through my company, ”promised the ex-president.
As for Chuck Pelletier, his interim presidency will officially last until September 13, when elections and the organization’s annual general meeting will take place.
