Mark Peto, a former resident of Cam, Gloucestershire, was recently evicted from his council home for using his back garden as a scrapyard for seven years. Neighbours claim that they suffered health hazards and an eyesore due to his hoarding behaviour. The garden was filled with old cars, washing machines, furniture, and even offensive weapons. The neighbours, Kamilla Godlewska, Stuart, Barbara Frost, and Michael Hardiman, recounted the ordeal, stating that the situation worsened over the years, and scrap even crashed into their garden. The situation became unbearable, and the council had to act by finally evicting Peto. He was sent to prison for assaulting a council officer the following year.
