Stable Spring Weather Prevails in Lebanon and Eastern Mediterranean Basin

The Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Authority stated that “stable spring weather dominates Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, during the coming days,” noting that “the average temperature for the month of April is between 15 and 24 degrees Celsius.”

And it indicated in its evening bulletin, that “the expected weather in Lebanon tomorrow, Sunday, is slightly cloudy to partly cloudy, with high clouds, with a slight rise in temperatures, as it returns to its seasonal rates, and local fog forms on the medium elevations.”

And the Department of Estimates pointed out, “The weather expected on Monday is few clouds, with a decrease in temperatures in the mountainous and internal regions, while they remain without significant change on the coast, and fog is formed on the middle elevations, as the winds are active in the interior regions in the evening.”

And it indicated that “the expected weather on Tuesday is partly cloudy, with fog on the heights, and a slight additional decrease in temperatures,” stating that “the expected weather on Wednesday is partly cloudy, with fog on the heights, without a significant change in temperatures, while it begins to rise in the interior regions.”

The department also added, “The surface winds are northwesterly to northerly during the day and southeasterly at night, with speeds between 10 and 30 km/h. Sweeping is good and moderate over heights in the morning and evening periods. Relative humidity on the coast is between 50 and 75%. Sea condition is low, wave height and temperature.” The water surface is 20 degrees Celsius.
