Marselino Ferdinand scored their first goal together KMSK Deinze when beating Virton 3-1 in the second caste of the Belgian League, Saturday (22/4) evening WIB.
Marcelino came on as a substitute in this match. He was brought on to replace Jur Schryvers at the start of the second half.
Coach Marc Grosjean’s trust was paid for by Marcelino with goals. The Indonesian national team player broke into Virton’s goal in the 76th minute.
Marcelino scored after escaping the opponent’s offside trap. He then calmly fired a well-aimed shot from inside the penalty box which outwitted the opposing goalkeeper.
The goal Marselino scored put Deinze ahead 3-1 over Virton at the Burgemeester Van De Wiele Stadium.
Previously, Deinze was able to win 2-0 over Virton. Two of Deinze’s goals were scored alternately by Alessio Staelens in the sixth minute and Jannes Vansteenkiste (26′).
The 2-0 advantage lasted until the first half ended. Ten minutes into the second half, Virton reduced the score to 1-2 through Souleymane Anne’s penalty.
After that it was Marselino Ferdinan’s turn to put his name on the scoresheet for Deinze. The 3-1 score for Deinze’s victory lasted until the fight was over.
