He scored against Liberec in the last round and is currently the most productive player in the competition after Řezníček from Brno with a record of 13+6.
“But I had nothing against Jablonec. When I was a guest at Bohemka last season, I got hooked on football again, I enjoyed working there and after a long time I again felt that I belonged somewhere and that the next season could be good there as well. I built up a position there and I didn’t want to lose it,” Chramosta explains.
He was sent to Ďolíček on loan by the then coach of Jablonec, Petr Rada, under whom Chramosta made 74 starts in the top competition in three and a half seasons. However, only 26 in the starting line-up, mostly substituted. He took it hard. “It was devastating,” he declared. “For me, we had more attackers. Now he has confidence, he plays and believes in himself. I think he got a kick out of the loan spell at Bohemka, which gave him back his confidence,” says Rada, who bet a lot on Doležal. “But he was I’m glad the Temple was there. He is a goalscorer when he is healthy, that is why we brought him to Jablonec. He helped us a lot from the beginning. He is also a good boy in terms of character,” Rada says.
“I have nothing against coach Rado. I traveled some way and thanks to him I am where I am now. He just bet on other players, that’s just how coaches do it. He had a certain style that maybe I didn’t quite fit into. In Jablonec, I don’t play as a center player, I’m more of a more withdrawn ten and I’m much more in the game, more on the ball, and that’s a position I enjoy and it’s quite similar to the one in Bohemka. It’s probably the main factor that it’s going like this now,” assesses Chramosta, whose run was interrupted by coach David Horejš in the summer. “Forget about Bohemians!” he said forcefully. He has now missed only five starts in the league.
“Taste grows with food. When you play, your confidence on the ball is much higher and you feel that your teammates trust you. Now on the field I often don’t even think about certain things, I do them automatically because I believe in my abilities,” says the native of Benátek nad Jizerou, where he completed a barrack a year and a half ago and settled definitively in his hometown.
“I must not forget the family, which is an important factor. My days now are such that I come from training and we play football all day with the boys who have grown up a bit. They already perceive it a lot. They celebrate every goal of mine all week in my style,” he laughs. When he decided the duel with Pardubice and took off his jersey, soon six-year-old Matouš and three-year-old Jan were said to be walking in half-body for a week. “Or it was another week of riding on the knees… They perceive it , which is another driving force to be successful,” smiles Chramosta, who is heading to the League Gunners Club. He is fifteen shots short of the valuable target. “Fifteen goals is not an unrealistic goal for him. I think he still has a lot of time left in his career and with all my heart I would like him to put on the weight,” notes Rada.
Quite possibly, Chramost will fulfill his wish in Jablonec, as he extended his contract with the club for another two seasons in the fall.
“Because of the number of goals scored and the age, it is my goal, but it will start to excite me as it gets closer. When it was said that I might be the top scorer in the domestic cup, I had that in my head. And when I did, it felt good. However, I’m not burdened by it now and I appreciate where I am now,” he concludes.
