Microsoft has disabled the feature that allows content to be uploaded directly from Xbox or Windows Game Bar to Twitter.. The official account confirms, in response to a user who was looking for a way to share a clip, that he “had to deactivate” the option, although content can still be uploaded to the social network from the Xbox application on iOS and Android.

The reason for this change is in the new Microsoft policywhich recently announced that Smart Campaigns would stop supporting Twitter from April 25; from that date, users will not be able to access their accounts or schedule messages from the social network management tool. Other platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn -from Microsoft itself- will continue to be accessible from Smart Campaigns.
The problem lies in the many changes that Elon Musk is making with Twitter and his requirement that companies pay a fee for the use of the API, something Microsoft opposes.
