In the conditions of high inflation and increase in loan payments, the question of how to increase one’s income is becoming more and more relevant for many in Latvia. Labor market experts outline the way to act in such a situation.
However, the interests of both parties should always be kept in mind. In the current economic conditions, it is not easy for employers either.
Looking for new opportunities
In recent months, more activity in the labor market can be observed in Latvia. Many employers have noticed that now, when publishing a vacancy, the average number of applications is much higher than it was six months ago, a year ago, says Ināra Mukāne-Mirtezani, head of talent attraction company “FindAda”. This, of course, depends on the specifics of the company, industry and position, however, in general, this trend can be observed in Latvia and the other Baltic countries. Candidate activity is largely related to people’s need and desire for higher income.
