Long awaited and hoped for just after the legislatures of January 8, 2023. And for the past few days, rumors have been circulating about a ministerial reshuffle. During the press briefing hosted by the two presidents Patrice Talon and Paul Kagame of Rwanda visiting Benin, this concern returned and the Head of State let it be understood that this could not wait long. Finally, the President of the Republic carried out, this Monday, April 17, 2023, a slight reorganization of his Government. In accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, the Bureau of the National Assembly was consulted. This new team includes 22 members. Attached is the list and composition of the new team.
In essence, it is observed that two personalities are entering the Government and that three personalities are at the end of their mission. In addition, two ministerial portfolios change names and a Secretary of State is established.
It can easily be seen that by this act, the President of the Republic renews his confidence in most of the members of his Government and injects a little new blood with the two entries, all to further mobilize his team around the major objective of achieving the Program of Action.
