The state-guaranteed legal aid service informs that residents who wish to receive state-funded mediation services can independently submit requests and other documents through the legal services information system – TEISIS.
Ordering this service electronically is simpler and faster, it is indicated which documents must be submitted and residents can monitor the status of service provision and see when this service will be provided. TEISIS system for residents provides an opportunity not only to submit orders for receiving mediation services electronically, to receive relevant information, to submit an opinion on the services provided, but also to interactively consult legal issues with specialists providing free primary legal assistance in municipalities. Until now, the provision of mediation services was administered when a person came to the municipality or the State-Guaranteed Legal Aid Service and its departments, or by submitting documents by e-mail.
In the absence of the possibility to submit documents electronically, individuals can also contact the specialists who provide primary legal assistance in municipalities, who will help them fill out and submit applications and other documents on behalf of individuals who wish to receive mediation services through the TEISIS system.
We invite residents to use this system and apply for electronic state-guaranteed legal aid services on the TEISIS website: www.teisis.lt.
To use electronic services, users must verify their identity by logging in through the government’s electronic gateway. You can find more detailed login information here or on the website (LEISIS instructions for use).
