Originally from the community of San José de Guatemala, municipality of San Marcos, this prolific interpreter of cumbia and romantic music, says that since he was little He was restless and the handsome rhythm attracted him, he liked to listen to the groups that made the era in the 70’s.

Chava González, as he is known by his public, tells that he did his primary studies in his hometown, years later he emigrated to the port of Acapulco and studied high school, Later he attended the Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Guerrero.

Upon graduating, he took his first steps in litigation under the guidance of attorney Baltazar Hernández Juárez, who was his mentor and who taught him everything he knows in civil matters, until he made a name and prestige.

Over the years, he became independent and managed to set up his own law firm, It was when his relative Baltazar Guatemala, better known as “La Momia”, with his Fiesta 85, he invited him to join his group and he has been dedicated to music for ten years, joining his own musical group months later.

He is accompanied on this adventure by Carlos Morales on the timbales, Moisés Jiménez, on the organ and Naomi on the saxophone, who are the members of the group “Chava y su Cumbiamba”, whose debut was in about 15 years, alternating with Fiesta 85 and “Los Latinos de la Costa”, in the port of Acapulco.

From that moment on, they play in restaurants, weddings, 15-year-olds and artistic events, which has been their pace of work, although they permanently entertain at the Bambú restaurant, pozole every Thursday, in which they alternate with a variety of impersonators.

Chava González says that they are versatile and play all musical genres, although what they ask for the most are cumbias and romantic songs, emphasizing that this has not been an obstacle for her to continue attending her law firm, which she attends personally, although she has with lawyers who deal with labor and criminal cases.
