S&P Global Composite PMI Beats Expectations in April for US Services Sector

(AOF) – In the United States, the S&P Global Composite Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) stood at 53.5 in April when it was expected at 52.8 after 52.3 in March. In April, the services PMI came out at 53.7, beating the consensus of 51.5 and its level of 52.6 in March. The final PMI for the manufacturing sector in April came in at 50.4 from an expected 49 after 49.2 in March, S&P Global said.
