The Kremlin’s hopes that the West will get tired and stop providing military assistance to Ukraine are futile, El Murid is sure.
Today, on April 21, Germany is hosting another Ramstein meeting, at which about 50 allied countries agree on military assistance to Ukraine. This aid has already exceeded $55 billion during a full-scale war, and the West will not stop.
Such an opinion in his blog in Telegram said the Russian military and political observer El Murid (Anatoly Nesmiyan).
“Stories about how NATO will get tired and stop helping, these are talks in favor of the poor… In reality, for the first time after the Cold War, NATO received an impulse and a reason for its existence“, – said the expert.
He noted that with the start of a full-scale war, the Alliance grew in territories: Sweden and Finland became its members. There are also talks about the accession of Ukraine, which, Murid noted, is a very real scenario.
“Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have become, in fact, the second army after the US Army, and keeping such a resource on the side is absolutely utter stupidity … The Ukrainian army is rapidly moving to NATO standards and by the time of legal formalization it will be completely ready “from the wheels” to enter the military structure of NATO“, – said the expert.
He called this development of events “a blow in the gut” to the Kremlin, which, before its “special operation”, put forward a very bold condition for NATO: to collect the belongings and get out to the 1997 borders.
Murid was surprised by the statement of the press secretary of the dictator of the Russian Federation that the current actions of NATO allegedly confirm the correctness of Moscow’s decision to get involved in a war against Ukraine.
“The press secretary broke the causal relationship. NATO’s actions in this case are the result of the launched “special operation”… Before the conflict, NATO was quietly rotting away, having no worthy goal in front of it… But then Putin came and gave NATO a sense“, – said the Russian blogger.
Earlier, at the Ramstein meeting, Stoltenberg announced Ukraine’s membership in the North Atlantic Alliance.
Sheitelman also named the method by which Ukraine will be admitted to NATO.
