Dota 2 Analyst Yaroslav NS Kuznetsov talked about the release of a global patch 7.33 for Valve’s MOBA. The Russian caster shared his thoughts on innovations during a personal broadcast on Twitch.
“Dota” requires periodic changes so that it does not stagnate, but it does not require, in fact … did not require global interventions in all possible game systems before this patch. Because it’s hard for an old player, a player who wants to return to Dota, maybe now. After all, we all know this story – you haven’t played for a while, some patch came out, and you think: “Let me come in and see what has changed there.” And you’re like, “***, fuck him, I don’t even want to read this, I don’t want to understand what’s going on here at all.” That is, why? It’s overkill, really. It may not be bad at the exit, but even so they lived somehow.
Kuznetsov also spoke about the character changes.
In fact, in DotA, ten heroes cannot even be counted, which are different from the rest of the party. All the characters practically do the same thing and are almost the same. I would like a little more original mechanics and heroes with original gameplay. And this is what they did. This, I believe [хорошо]Well, I have zero complaints about this. All this will need to be balanced, tightened up.
In this whole patch, the map is very confusing. Here is this new map with guards, tormentors, rangers, running Roshans, four outposts, teleports. This is really embarrassing, but the characters, in fact, are not. All I see is just fun attempts to add original mechanics to Dota to make it feel different.
Global patch 7.33 for Dota 2 was released on the night of April 21st. Many new features have been added to the game. So, now Black King Bar no longer grants immunity to magic, and additional Roshan lairs and side forests have appeared on the map. You can get acquainted with all the changes in the material.
