Nintendo Releases New Update for Pokémon Scarlet y Violet with Fixes and Solutions

Nintendo released yesterday wednesday a new update for Pokémon Scarlet y Violet, corresponding to version 1.3.0 of both games. In addition to some fixes, the new update includes the solution of two serious problems that the game had.

The first of these has to do with the bug that corrupted gameswhich since the beginning of March, occurred when connecting the titles with Pokémon GO and/or downloading Hisui’s Zoroark as a pre-sale bonus for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC.

The other major fix has to do with screenshots from raids Ondulagua (Walking Wake – Suicune) y Ferverdor (Iron Leaves – Virizion), where some players received an Egg instead of the Pokémon. Starting with this update, players will be able to seamlessly capture them in a new Teraid instance, starting on May 1st.

Here is a Spanish translation of the new update:

Feature Settings

There has been a change to the deadline for entries in Friendly Competitions, which can be found in the Online Competitions section of the Battle Stadium.

  • Before this change: Entries were allowed until the Friendly Competition began.
  • After this change: Entries will be allowed until the end of the Friendly Competition.

Bug Fixes Link Battles

  • Fixed a bug in Link Battles where selecting Trade right before the select timer reached zero could fail to switch the selected Pokémon and subsequently cause the switch, and the battle itself, to act abnormally.
  • Fixed a bug in Link Battles where once the time remaining for the battle was below one minute, it would no longer display where it was supposed to.
  • Fixed an issue that would occur in Link Battles where, depending on the move being used at the time a Pokémon was debuffed, the time a Trainer was given to select their next Pokémon would be reduced.

battles

  • Fixed a bug where the Repeated Chew Skill would trigger again every two turns after activating the first time, contrary to the Skill description.
  • Fixed an issue that would occur when Zoroark Terastalized while using its Illusion Ability to disguise itself as another Pokémon. On the View Status screen, the type of the Terastalized Zoroark would be displayed as the original type of the Pokémon it had disguised as, instead of Zoroark’s Tera Type.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred when Zoroark used his Illusion Ability to disguise himself as another Pokémon that had already Terastalized. This bug caused Zoroark’s type on the View Status screen to incorrectly display as the Type Tera of the Pokémon that Zoroark had disguised as.
  • Fixed a bug in Double Battles with moves that cause stat changes to the Pokémon using the moves. This bug caused stat changes to incorrectly occur twice if the user hit two opposing Pokémon with the move while an opposing Pokémon was behind a Substitute.

Connectivity with Pokémon GO

  • Fixed the main issue that caused the game to crash on the screen used to link with a Pokémon GO account.

Others

  • Fixed a bug that affected Trainers who received Zoroark Hisuiano from the Mystery Gift screen as a special early-purchase bonus for the new DLC in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet without having seen Zoroark in their game. This bug caused Zoroark to incorrectly show up as registered in these Trainers’ Pokédexes.
  • Other bug fixes have been implemented.
